So it’s the last day of the juice fast. I’m feeling good. Normally I might be sad with something coming to an end, but I’m really looking forward to having some food again. It’s been a great cleanse and detox, but I’m ready for the food this Christmas! Here’s how the last day of my juicing detox went down.
Breakfast:
- 1 small golden beet (optional)
- 3 kale leaves
- 1 pear
- 2 apples
- 3 carrots

- 1/2 bag fresh cranberries
- 1 peeled orange
- 2 apples
- 1 cucumber
- 2 stalks celery

- 2 peeled lemons
- 1 peeled orange
- 1 pineapple
- 2 kale leaves
- 1/2 cup fresh cranberries
- 1 banana (optional – blend it up in the juice with your blender)
Dinner was just wonderful with the banana flavor in this juice. I did a banana to help me transition into eating food tomorrow morning. I’ll probably start out the day tomorrow with a smoothie (either that or just go crazy with eggs and waffles – who knows – it’s been 10 days!!).
While the temptation to eat has always been there, I do want to take a few sentences and tell you how I’ve felt on this journey. It has been wonderful! I’ve felt really good, full, satisfied, energetic and have enjoyed every juice that I’ve tried. It’s been a great experience, and am looking forward to doing it again come January. Until then….bring on the pumpkin pie and Turkey!
Recommended snack: Eat a few nuts and a banana for dinner, especially if you left the banana out of the juice. This will help you transition back into eating food.
Breakfast on day 11: Eat something light. Toast with a little butter and an apple is ideal for transitioning you back into food. If you’re up for it, have a cooked egg for breakfast as well.
Want to join me on my juicing adventures? I’ll be doing another 10 day juice fast on 1/11/2013 and would love some company! Join my juicing club and start juicing for health!

I’ll try my darnest to do this with you since the temptation is definitely there at my job and household.
You have been so motivating – I am really wanting to do this after the holidays! Did your husband do the 10 days with you? Also, are these recipes for one person? Seems like some of them would make quite a bit of juice!
Congratulations! It feels so good to complete a long Juice Fast, doesn’t it?
