10 Day Juice Fast Day Eight: It’s more about the mind…

I’m nearing the end of my journey, but trying not to think about it. It’s funny how your mind will make the temptation to eat even harder when you know that you’re nearing the end of a juice fast. So I’m doing my best to not think about the end, not think about food and not look at Pinterest. Other than dealing with all the psychological factors, I feel good. I feel full, and am enjoying every single juice that I get to try. Here’s how juicing for day eight of my 10 day juice fast went down.
Breakfast:

Isn’t this just so beautiful? I love these red juices. And it’s oh so tasty. I’m a big fan of the earthy flavor that beets have, so this is just a wonderful way to start out the day!
Lunch:

Just carrot. So simple, yet delicious!
Dinner:

Perfect dinner filled with yummy green goodness. Normally I do six kale leaves in this drink, but I ran out of kale. I didn’t notice a taste difference at all, hence why it’s probably good to add in more kale than less on a regular basis (as long as you haven’t run out!).
Late-night snack:

Last night the temptation to eat came on full force. To combat it, I made a juice that I knew I would absolutely love and savor every single sip of. The creation above may be the best juice to date. It’s a tough call between this one and the pineapple-pumkpin juice from day four.
You can follow along with how I am doing daily on Facebook. Have a juice recipe I should try? Let me know about it!
