The coolest thing about doing all this juicing, is that children are getting to experience this along with me. Granted, they aren’t on a juice fast, but they are getting to try juices along with their regular food, and they learn the process of making their own juice. It’s educational and nutritious! I love that they are getting a good foundation of healthier eating that will hopefully stay with them as they grow older.
Day 10 of my juice fast went well. I’m not gonna lie….I’m tempted to eat. It’s nearing the holidays and there are scrumptious looking goodies everywhere. And worse, Grandma came over last night and made cookies with the kids! Now that was tough… But I only have one more day after this. I can make it!
Breakfast:

- 1 pineapple
- 2 Fuji apples
- 1 cup pumpkin
- 1/2 cup dark sweet cherries
- 1 handful of spinach

- 1 cup chopped fennel
- 3 Fuji apples
- 3 d’Anjou pears
- 1 head of romaine

This was leftover juice from lunch. While getting the romaine was great, I’m definitely ramping up the greens for my last day tomorrow.
I’m going to be juicing again on 1/11/2013. If you’d like to join in on the fun, be sure to join my juicing club. I’ll be sending out recipes, tips, shopping lists and more! RSVP and start juicing for your health!
