It’s amazing to realize that I don’t need as much food as I think I need. A glass of juice filled with fruits and vegetables is very filling and satisfying. Here’s how the juicing went down on day seven of my 10 day juice fast.
Breakfast:

- 1 pineapple
- 1 Fuji apple
- 1 green apple
- 1 cup pumpkin
- 1 head romaine
- 1 TB pumpkin pie spice
While this one wasn’t as tasty as the other pumpkin-pineapple juice, it is pretty fabulous! The romaine adds green goodness to it in order to balance out all the sweetness from the pineapple and apples. Don’t get me wrong, this juice is very sweet! But it is nice that it also has green in it.
Lunch:

- 2 tomatoes
- 2 green apples
- 3 stalks celery
- 4 carrots
- 2 kale leaves
- 1 clove garlic
This was the attempt to copy that awesome juice from the juice bar yesterday, and it turned out perfect, perhaps better than the juice bar juice. This juice may look gross, but it is positively wonderful! Especially when you’ve been drinking a bunch of green and fruity drinks all week.
Dinner:

- 6 kale leaves
- 4 stalks of celery
- 2 apples
- 1 cucumber
- 1/2 lemon
- Piece of ginger
Old Faithful, she’s come to be known as. I just love this drink!
I’m in the home-stretch! Just three more days in my juice fast. Want to follow along with how I’m doing and my daily updates? Check me out on Facebook or Flickr. Do you have a good juice I should try? Tell me about it!
