No, the coupon states up to $30 off. It is not intended to provide overage, and the registers will actually prompt the cashier to put in the sale amount.
The scenario with Arm amp; Hammer Laundry Detergent won#39;t work because it#39;s limit 2.
Walgreens coupons will work on every specified item you are getting, even if you have more than the limit on the coupon.
Hey Crystal! Is the 4 day sale ad IN the store? It is not part of my Sunday flyer. Or might it come in my mail on Wednesday?BR/BR/I just printed off two $1 off Arm amp; Hammer detergent coupons. Before that, I printed off three $1off a box of Kelloggs cereal coupons. I told my husband it#39;s like I am printing money!!!
Since you said walgreens coupons will work even if you have over the limit, does that mean the cough drop deal will work? It says limit 4 (or is it 3?) and Moneysavingmama says you need 26 bags. She said to split it up into a few transactions, but its not like CVS, you don’t have a card and the register doesnt remember who you are and how many you’ve bought.
I bought 3 of the Theraflu products and did NOT get any rr. I even asked the manager about it and he said he didnt know why they did not print.
Michelle – I believe the cough drop deal is a rebate so you’d have to enter your receipt either online or mail it in to get the rebate. BR/BR/Also, I was still able to print the $3 coupons for the Robitussin.
I went this morning and got everything I wanted. Be careful with the cough drops, I accidentally got a sugar-free bag that cost more and didn’t count for the .39 deal. Of course, I didn’t realize it until after I got home. I also don’t seem to have the $4/1 Maybelline Q that came in RP this past Sunday, bummer because I wanted some free lipstick.
I am confused about the Arm amp; Hammer deal. If I take 2 walgreens coupons up and 4 $1/1 manu coupons will I or will I not be allowed to do it and will I get the RR? Sorry, still kinda new to this
Help??? I went today, loaded with my coupons and prepared to spend little money, however, I think I was told wrong information. The cashier refused to let me get to $25 before my coupons. She kept insisting it was after the coupons. I tried to debate for a few minutes, but then like a newbie, I handed over my coupons and watched her take the amount off. I did get some good deals, but I had 4 Arm amp; Hammer detergents, lipstick, and Angel Soft Toilet Paper, not to mention 2 Aquafina packs. I also bought 3 robitussin and 3 thereflus, but didn#39;t get anything back. What do I need to do? I am such a NEWBIE!! ??????
Laura and Bethany, your RR should print, because it takes the total before coupons.BR/BR/It sounds like you had a rude cashier. If it were me I would call the store manager about it. Take everything back and demand your coupons be returned. If they can’t return your coupons for any reason, then they need to give you the full price back including the coupon values. BR/BR/Then take your business to another Walgreens if the store manager doesn’t do anything to remedy the situation. Next time before you check out, ask them if the Register Rewards machine is working, and check to see that the green light is on on the machine. BR/BR/I’m sorry you had issues. But it’s not uncommon to run into rude cashiers. I hope you get it worked out.
Also, if they give you issues with giving you the full purchase price back and aren’t able to return your coupons, tell them that they are getting reiumbursed for the coupons if they aren’t returned to you, and that is stealing.BR/BR/BR/And another note, if the Register Rewards machine was working and the cashier didn’t give you yours, that is called theft, and is a big no no with Wags corp. Next step, if you don’t get it resolved by speaking with the manager, is to call corp on them. They take RR stealing very serious.

Bethany,BR/BR/I know exactly what you mean! BR/BR/Last week I went and bought 25 dollars worth of stuff and it didn’t give me my rewards because the machine jammed up. The manager came over and said that it’s because I didn’t spend 25 after coupons. She said she could void the whole purchase and try again if I like but the same thing would happen unless I added on more items. I almost did but then I said, “let’s just try it and see what happens.” She said okay and sure enough my rewards printed! She actually told the cashier so she’d know, “did you see that, she was right, they printed”
BR/BR/The week before that I left with no rewards even though I was supposed to get a $5, another $5 and a $6, because I too felt like a newbie and was embarrassed to debate with the cashier after she said if it doesn’t print automatically, then you don’t get them. 
However, i got to work and called the manager, and that evening went in and picked up my reprinted rewards.

Ugh what the heck. I didnt get the maybeline coupons this past sunday!
My WAGS disputed the entire 4-day sale when I went in today to buy the Arm amp; Hammer, among other things. It wasn#39;t on sale, they claim they didn#39;t have an in-ad sale of $1.99 for it, the manager looked into it for me, but he also stated he didn#39;t know what I was talking about. ??? Is this a regional thing maybe? I#39;m in San Diego. I was so excited to get the laundry detergent and no I#39;m so bummed! I was able to print 2 coupons from the Aamp;H site from my computer, then went to my sister#39;s house to print 2 more so I could buy 4 of them, but then ulitmately to go there and for them to tell me no…Ugh!
At my Walgreens the Arm amp; Hammer was priced $7.49 and the Sure deodorant was $2.99. They didn#39;t have the ad in the store this morning, but when I went back late this afternoon they had put the flyers out. The sale price stickers were still not on the shelves, however.
My local paper in southern ca. didn#39;t have the arm amp; hammer either. From what I understand, you So-Cal ladies are out of luck- no sale!BR/BR/I went today and got the detergent (free and clear to wash baby clothes) and two Sure’s. The cashier was some high school boy and he hi-fived me for only spending $2.72. “Thats so sweet!” he said.
So, I went tonight and did a couple of transactions and impressed the girl at the register so much she wanted to know how I did all of this stuff. I frequent several really great sites but when I was considering someone completely new to this checking one out, I said your site.
She printed off extra register tape… (after all my RR’s printed out) and had me write it down for her. You know you got a good deal when they make you write down where you got the info. 
I have put in a call and a letter to my Walgreens store. So, hopefully, I will get an answer. I need to “man up” and stand up for my deals! We are all in the market to save some money, so now I feel like they “stole” my money. I looked on my receipt for the name of the cashier. Thanks for the advice.
Oh in so cal they#39;re still having the sale, it#39;s just not everything is in the ad. The 5 rr for 25 is there, and the candy and toilet paper and pepsi, but no entertainment book or arm amp; hammer.
I#39;m still heading this morning to try the printable from walgreens site for the 1.99 though. it#39;s worth a shot!

Yay! Then since that one worked, I printed the cough drop coupon and went back and bought 26 bags of them. Ha Ha! I made money today, this feels soooo good! Thanks to everyone for all your help.

Has anyone ever had a Wag\’s cashier refuse to take two coupons on a BOGO Free? I tried to use 2 $3 coupons for the Bic Soleil deal, and cashier refused!!! He actually took the time to look at the coupon to \”find an excuse\” and said the coupon was only valid \”on a purchase\”, and I wasn\’t purchasing the 2nd item. I argued that I was or it wouldn\’t register on the receipt. Do I have any grounds to move this up the ladder to the manager? Frustrated in Phoenix.
“I live in a rural area so my Entertainment book does not feature a city. I think it\’s just called a \”national book\”. Anyways it was only $15.00 instead of $25. So it ended up being only $5.00 after coupon. Just a heads up if you\’re planning to get the $5 RR by only buying the entertainment book. \n
