Other than a quick run to Sam’s for some produce and a pizza, and CVS to pick up some tylenol (one of the kids is sick), I haven’t done really much shopping.
On produce at Sam’s, I spent $28.05, and by my calculations saved about $11.77. I calculated the savings based on what I would have paid at the regular grocery store. It was a savings of about .30 %. Not bad, but I could probably do better.
Tylenol at CVS: It was a CVS brand marked down to $1.37. I got a filler item, used a 1.99 ECB and paid .28 cents on a gift card.
YTD Spending: $323
YTD Savings: $1,484
Coupon Costs: $30
