Is this promotion at Target for this week only? Do you know how long it will be running? I don’t have a Target in my town, but I will be in a city next week that has one, so I’d like to do the deal there if possible.
I believe it is just for this week, correct me if I’m wrong someone.
Where does one get the Walgreens Easy Saver coupons? The only time I’ve ever used one the clerk asked me if I had one and then took one from behind the counter to scan. Does that happen all the time or are you supposed to get your own?

This $5 Target Gift Card with the purchase of Glade candles was running in my local Target LAST week. I’m hoping that it’s still going on this week since I have the $4 coupon again (already got my “free” candle at Walgreens–had to pay $0.57 tax). Hope that helps!

i just caught this deal at walgreens. i bought 3 glade candles which rung up $5.09 instead of $5.99. I also got the reusuable shopping bag and a .33 pencil for a filler.
i ended up receiving a gift card for .88! in other words, they paid me to take the stuff of the shelves!!!!
That is great, bekah! I wish that would have happened to me. The candles rung up $5.09 because of the %15 off coupon. Well, that threw my Wags folks for a loop. The asst manager ended up making the manu Q for $3.09 instead of the $4. I got a couple of Soy Joy bars as fillers (they are good!) Anyway, I ended up paying $1.86 for 2 candles, 2 Soy Joys, and a Wags tote. Not bad, I just wish Wags could get their act together better when it comes to coupons.
How does it reset. It keeps telling me that I’ve printed out the max number of times. I printed 2 last time.

Sorry they caught the overage MelRae, sometimes that happens. I can’t believe they actually gave Bekah the overage, that would only happen one in a million times for sure. Usually if you have enough other items to absorb the overage, they don’t notice it and if you hand over the manu coupon first, followed by the ESQ (as much later as possible, if you have other Qs), they don’t notice.
The 90c each overage at WAGS was a better deal than the Target $1.40/two, especially if you are like me and have RRs to use, but this was a one day only deal with the employee discount.

Thanks, Tina! Yeah, I did the ESQ first. The cashier really was helpful. I could tell she wanted the deal to work for me, she just could not get the register to cooperate! It really was that 15% off that was the problem. All good!

Boy did I ever have a problem at wags tonight!! they were sold out of the smaller candles, so I ended up picking up 4 of the larger ones, with the 15% off and then the q’s they were 1.49, not bad until I discovered that they did not use 2 of my q’s (of course I realized that after I got into my car!) Went back in and they called the manager over, and he said that I couldn’t get cash back for the q’s, which I already knew that and I didn’t want any way. I either wanted to get a refund and ring my stuff up again, or for them to take off just the candles and give me back the 2 q’s they took but didn’t use. The MANAGER told me that it wouldn’t accept the coupons because there would be overage, I said no there would not be b/c I bought the bigger candles and they were on sale for 8.49, minus the 3 dollar off wags coupon and minus the 4 dollar manu. coupn, I would owe him 1.49 per candle. He argues with me about this for 10 minutes! He said that I didn’t understand what he was saying and I politely argued that I COULD count and I would STILL owe HIM 1.49 a candle. So we voided the first transaction and then rang up everything again and the most curious thing happened! It turned out I was not a moron and I COULD count just like I said. I hate going to that particular wags and I must be a glutton for punishment, cause stuff like that routinely happens at that store. Also when the manager was saying that I wasn’t understanding him he actually looked at me and said that I “just don’t understand management and the process he has to go thru to fix it” Which number 1 was RUDE, Number 2 I laughed at him, and told him he was rude and that he needs to be careful what he says to people, cause he never really knows who he is talking with. (I am a manager at a local store very close to where he works, so I know what he goes through) As I left I told him that I do understand management all too well b/c I am a manager at a store myself and that I would be calling corp. b/c I have had too many problems with him at that store. Whew!! Can you believe this guy? And he is the store manager!!!
I got a good deal the last time these were out but got juiced this time around. The 15% threw my store’s cashier off and then the manager yelled from the front of the store to photo (where I was to get the reusable tote for free) that the 4th coupon exceeded the amount and would create an overage. I somehow paid $2.80 for 2 candles. I wish I would have paid attention to the way he was inputting them. I know it should have been .80+ tax in the end. Oh well….
Wags was horrid using this today. They were on sale for $5.99 I did 2 transactions. $4 off IP and $2 wags Q from the coupon book. The lady acted like I was a criminal and called the manager over. She told me she wouldnt accept 2 coupons on one item. I told her she may not know the policy but it indeed is their policy to take a manufacturer q and their store q. She got so mad. The manager took it but then told me they arent accepting IP’s after next month and are doing away with the easy saver booklets after this month.. My Wags is enough to make someone stop couponing! Its horrible!
