So true! I just heard a wonderful talk from a religious leader recently on debt. And while it's so simple what he says, it's also true. We need to ask ourselves if we really need it. AND, even if we can afford, do we really need it. Is that money better spent elsewhere? Speaking of bad choices we make, he said: "Our success is never measured by how strongly we are tempted, but how faithfully we respond." (I myself know of the power of tithes -- when I decided to faithfully pay it, that first year I saw an increase in my pay by $10K. That's quite a bit. Made a believer of me. Although better are those that believe without needing to test it.) Thanks for your site!

I have been a faithful tither for many years, and I also give offerings for other needs at times. One thing I have learned though all of it is that I have never missed or needed a dime of what I've given to God.

God takes care of those who are faithful stewards of their money. Now that is not to say you will have all your wants, but he will supply all your needs.

You're right this subject is not one many people like to talk about, but you did a great job.

It's not coincidence that everytime I am struggling with a particular issue, you have a testimony that hits right at the heart of it. Thank you tremendously and I thank God for you, for Him to put you into my "web life" is wonderful!
