logo cvs CVS Deals 8/23There are two CVS total purchase coupons out right now that you definitely want to use with these deals.  One is this $5/25 printable HERE.  Just answer a few questions to get the coupon at the end.  The other is the $4 off ANY purchase of $20 or more, found in the ReadyFill booklet at CVS. Ask about ReadyFill at the pharmacy and they give you a booklet with two of these coupons in there.  There are a bunch of other coupons in it as well.

For the Newbie:
If you haven’t registered your card with your email address, go ahead and do so at CVS.com, or call 1-800-SHOP CVS. Eventually they will send you a $4/20 purchase. Start collecting the coupon inserts every week from now on, and save every coupon!

Can you use the $4/$20 coupon from the ready fill book more than once or do they only let you use it once per Extra Care card?

yes you can. Why would they put two in one booklet if you couldn’t? :) yippee for more deals!

Can you use the $5/$25 only once per card or can you use it more than once? It let me print more than one after I finished the quiz.

I used to be able to walk out of CVS spending just cents sometimes. Mostly under a dollar at least. Now, even though I will pay the entire amount with ECBs like always, I still end up paying like $2 or more sometimes. I asked the guy about it and he said I am paying the tax. I never used to (at least not that much anyway), as I thought the ECBs and CVS coupons cut down on the taxable amount I had to pay. Anyone else finding this problem? I used to get lots of stuff free to donate or give away that since I wasn’t paying anything, but if I have to keep paying $2-$3 for stuff I don’t really need, it’s not worth it. (Sometimes I am still getting over $20 or $30 of product, but if I don’t really need it….) I’m very frustrated.

It differs from state to state if you have to pay the tax OOP or not. I shop at CVS in Kansas and Missouri. In Missouri, I can pay .00 OOP, in KS I always have to pay the tax.

I just came from my CVS (in PA) and the Definity cleansers are not generating ECB’s. Only the more expensive products.

I just went and purchased the Aveeno deal. This is how it went:
a)I bought 3 Aveeno positively radiant (1 for 8.99, 1 for 15.00, 1 for 7.00= 31.00).
b)I used a $5 off $25 coupon + $4 off $20 coupon from refill booklet,1 $10.00 Aveeno coupon + $5.00 coupon,+ $5 ECB’s from a previous purchase.
c) I only paid out of pocket $2.00 + tax!!!!!!

I used the $10.00 ECB’s from the Aveeno purchase to buy the Accu Check ($10.00) for my Mother in law + 2 Mead notebooks for $15.00.
I had a coupon for $10 off Accu Check,$10 ECB’s,+ $4/$20 coupon from Refill booklet.My total cost was $1 + Tax!!!!

Thank you for the Aveeno coupons link!

LJ – It seems like I recall not paying as much (before ECB pmts applied) tax in the past also, as I noticed that my OOP costs increased lately too, – about the same amounts as what you mentioned – and I have noticed recently that I do now pay taxes on all of my purchases that I use ECB pmts and/or coupons on.
As one who works in the Accounting field, I’m thinking that CVS realized at some point (maybe when they filed one of their Qtly tax reports), that they weren’t charging the tax on ALL purchases – including the ECB pmt and/or coupon purchases – as they should have been all along, and then corrected their procedure at the time they discovered this.
I’ve just never asked them about the add’l OOP tax cost increases, as I do buy items that I actually use myself or can give to my relatives (ie: all of th FREE school supplies each week).
To sum this up, unfortunately, Uncle Sam always gets his share. :(

Help:
When I click on the $5/$25 coupon link, it takes me to the CVS Pharmacy home page. No survey is to be found, nor this coupon.
Any suggestions?

my local cvs only had poise liners on 2/4, not pads! plus the online liner coupon is $2 off of 2, unlike the pad coupon that is $2 off of one

I could not get the Aveeno to print. The baby ones would but not the Aveeno product. It would say thank you and never print?

ECB did not generate when I bought an Aveeno baby product to get to my $25.00. The cashier puched it through, but it did not print the ECB on it’s own and the baby product did not count toward it eventhough it had a sign next to the item. I could not find any $7.00 items either, besides the baby wash.
