Why have you been unhappy before?

They always seem “low grade” quality. I only buy from them if the item is free/cheap…I would be horribly mad if I paid the price listed for some things I’ve received in the past.

I signed up on Mr Rebates. Just wondering how long it takes for the pending transaction to show up?

I didn’t think their products were worth as much as they say. Most of them seem really cheap.

Mr., rebates is usually pretty quick. It shows them within a day or two for me.

Makes sense. I was thinking of giving this to my daughter for xmas. Quality wise it is probably good enough for a child, right?

My “guess” would be yes. It’s probably like one of those cheap ones you see on infomercials.

where do you enter the code? when I go to checkout the only place i see is for a gift card.

when you view your cart (before checking out), there should be a place there to add a promotional code

nevermind I found it, it’s on the first page, not towards the end when you go to add in your billing info. Thanks, I love the patchwork throw too, it’ll work great as my toddler’s new comforter when I move her from her crib to her toddler bed. Matches her lavender walled room perfectly.

I just ordered one, can’t wait to see what it looks like! I also ordered the quilt…it looks purple/lavender in the photo, but the catalog describes it as “pink.” LOL.

I’m going to try this! Don’t know that I can use the quilt right now but, if not, I can craigslist it for what I paid! I’ve actually needed a sewing machine for little mending projects. (My sewing machine rusted due to lack of use! lol)

I just ordered the sewing machine and quilt and mailed it directly to my mom. For $10 I figured she would like both. I totally spaced on using Mr. Rebates though. Ah well.

Thought this was interesting: “Very practical cordless or corded operation. Uses 4-AA batteries or AC adapter (not included).” (From the description of the sewing machine.) I haven’t heard of many things not including an AC adapter…

There are quite a few discount codes for them right now that will take 25% off your highest priced item. A couple of them that I saw were…

I read the reviews on amazon for this and it seems to be an “okay” “machine” somewhat in line with a handi-stitch… I was wondering if people were ordering or not. I can’t sew worth poo (I have not really tried though) so wondering if this would be a good practice/learning machine.

My guess is you get what you pay for. :)

I’ve ordered from them before and it was “okay” stuff. Definitely go for the free or nearly free and then be prepared to chuckle when you get it. lol.

I did this deal a couple of years ago, and got curtains for my daughters room. they are still up, and look the same as they did when i got them. I didnt pay much for them I think i paid like 3.00 for them just to get the sewing machine for my oldest daughter. the sewing machine never worked good and we gave it away. the curtains are cheap, but i paid cheap too. if you do this deal just be careful on what you buy, and do buy just to get the sewing maching it doesnt work.
