002 300x225 Cook It Wednesday

I went shopping earlier today, so I didn’t do any elaborate cooking.  But we did make these fun Celery Sail Boats for a snack today. We use to make these when I was a kid, and they are still fun, yummy and healthy.

Ingredients:

Celery
Peanut Butter
Cheese

Directions:

Cut celery into small sections and spread peanut butter inside the concave part. Then cut cheese into triangle shapes and stick into peanut butter to make a little sail.  You can also place a cheerio in the peanut butter to look like a life preserver.  These are fun and such a healthy snack!

Those are cute! I might try them with apple slices for the “sail.”

I like the sail boats too! Very cute. But I like the idea of the apple slices better. Not much of a cheese eater. :)

We used to make these with apple instead of cheese as the sails.
