I was disappointed with the free promotions I tried to receive today. When I went to Sears, not even the store manager knew about the free toy promo, and when he found someone who did, I was told they only gave out free Tonka trucks and they went as soon as they opened. Since I have a little girl, I wish they would have had something she would have used more. Then, when I went to get the free portrait collage, I was told I had to make a purchase. I did, but it was frustrating since I wasn’t planning on spending the money! Sonic’s was not giving away limeades, and our local Applebee’s was not participating in the kids eat free. Then, I went to Chipotle dressed like a burrito, only to find the promo starts at six! I really need to pay more attention to the details and call ahead. If I had done so, I wouldn’t have gone through all the trouble. All completely my fault, I hope everyone paid more attention than I did. Other than that, we had a good Halloween. My baby dressed like a lady bug. Thanks for posting, keep them coming. I’ll just actually have to pay attention! Have a good Sunday!

Lifeway: Kids Day Harvest Party 11am-1pm
This is a nice Halloween alternative and perfect for the little ones because it’s in between naps! The workers at are store are always pleasant and color with the kids. Plus they have had awesome door prizes like FREE kids CDs or DVDs.

I listed a bunch of others on my blog, but this is one of my favorite things to do with our kids. If you sign-up for their catalog, you’ll know about these kids events. I’ve looked over and again on their website and can never find this info. But it’s always in the catalog.
