Well after a whirlwind of a weekend, I finally have some time to post this for you all. I did a quick video this afternoon after I stopped in Kroger. You all must think I’m nuts for going shopping after such a long two days, but this was the last day of the Carnation Evaporated Milk sale, and I had to either get them or get rain checks. This sale comes once a year, and I wasn’t about to miss it, especially since I got 40 coupons on Ebay for $2. But that $2 will well be worth it when I get 30 cans of Carnation Evaporated milk for tax only. You can watch the quick video here (please excuse me for not putting make up on for you guys – after all, I am a natural mama right?):
Click here if you can’t see the video.
Check out my shopping trip that I did earlier this week HERE.
Weekly total spending: $57.26 Weekly total savings: $97.50
Seeing as I spent under $10 on groceries last week, I am still well within my budget this week.
YTD Spending: $1,750 ($38.89 weekly average over 45 weeks)
YTD Savings: $5,696 (76%)
Coupon Costs: $121

Great video Crystal. I actually think no matter where you are or whether or not you are wearing makeup (who cares anyways and plus you are lucky and look reallllly good without makeup actually)…these videos are really helpful to the newbies! I am not a newbie, as you know but I had been hearing about Manager Specials and had no idea what you had been talking about, now I do. I unfortunately do not have a Kroger and our Carnation is priced at $.80c each right now at Kroger’s partner Ralphs, so not that great of a deal IMO.
Thanks for the video and all your hard work!
I Heart Coupon Deals´s last blog ...:HOT COUPON:. $2.00 Off Welch’s Sparkling Juice!
Can I just say that I love these videos!!! I think it soo great when you go thru and let us know visually what you got on your various shopping trips!! I would love to see more of these in the future!!! THANKS TTM!!!!
Can I ask how you use your evaporated milk? For baking? I’m just curious…I bought a couple of cans and now I’m wondering if I should have bought more! Its not a product I’m familiar with using, but I’m trying to branch out a bit – especially when the savings are so wonderful.
Thanks
Yes, I use it in a lot of baking and cooking. You can add a little water to it and use it in pretty much any recipe that calls for milk.
I went to get my evaporated milk kind of late on saturday, they were out of stock and the costumer service was already closed, so I was not able to get my raincheck. I hope there is onother deal where I can have them before the coupons expire.
