PromoBanner1 CVS: $5 eGift Card When You Send $25

For every $25 Gift card that you purchase and send, you will also receive a $5 eGift card for yourself!  This is limited to $150 per transaction.  Here is the chart detail:

CVS Gift Card Rewards

I’m sad that it is just an eGift card, as I like to do my shopping in the store.  But this is a great deal, either way! See more details HERE.

Thanks Cardewallen!

The FAQ says these can be redeemed at any CVS location. I haven’t tried it before, so I was hoping someone else could chime in here and let us know if this was a deal we need to pounce on (those of us store shoppers, that is!) :)

Actually, I think you HAVE to redeem at a store as opposed to online:
•Redeemable at any CVS/pharmacy store (not valid online at CVS.com at this time.)
This is a line item that explains CVS Gift cards: https://cvs.cashstar.com/?ref=cvs1

The beauty is, even CVS , in their FAQ, says you can send yourself a gift card… how cool is that, bundled with a coupon for x off of x dollars spent?! I am loving CVS.

Thanks Carolyn for making that comment because I just read the same thing. Plus on some forums people have been talking about using them and having some difficulty because the store cashiers are not familiar with them yet.
I’m so tempted but concerned too.

I, too, read that cashiers have had problems redeeming them but I personally had no problems yesterday using mine. The cashier really didn’t know what it was at first, and told me I needed to “swipe” my gift card and that if I couldn’t swipe it there was nothing he could do. But then he asked a supervisor standing next to him, who read it, and told him to follow the instructions on the bottom of the card. He had no problems doing that, and it worked. So if you have problems, the instructions are printed right on the bottom of the gift card. Just wanted to let you know how it works!

Thanks Katelyn! I might have to get one. Might as well for an extra $5.

I got two and it is like a gift card you just have them enter the number instead. There is instructions that print at the bottom so the cashier can just follow them.
