If you’ve hung around my site for any length of time, you probably know that I LOVE Muir Glen organic products. I nearly jumped out of my seat with excitement when I saw this deal. This would be a great deal to have mailed to someone for Christmas!
Go HERE and you can order this Muir Glen Organic gift box for only $7 Shipped!! WOW! For each box sold online through March 31, 2010 Muir Glen will donate $2 to the Chef’s Collaborative, a national network of chefs dedicated to promoting sustainable food. I think I will be mailing this to some family that lives far away (shh..don’t tell them I only spent $7)!!
Thanks so much Erin from $800 Annual Budget!

Hey there: I’m sharing this info, because there are so many natural mamas here. I read an article yesterday about how you should not eat canned tomatoes because there is BPA in the lining of tin cans and the acidity level of tomatoes in particular causes the BPA to leach into the tomatoes. Just an FYI… it was a big shocker to me as I love buying organic but this is a harzard I most certainly was not aware of. I will TRY* to purchase tomatoes in glass from now on and I will check if tomato paste in the tube is free of BPA.. not sure.

Jackie, I read that article today! I was a little sad, because I just recently started buying organic tomatoes and tomato paste to make my own sauces . . . now I’m reverting to buying the pre-jarred ones.
woo hoo! Just sent one to my Grandma for Christmas (LOL this is near my hometown in CA!!). Thanks!!
Anyone know what the cost for shipping is?
