sears 300x225 $9.99 Oil Change at Sears January 1st!

Here I am popping in to let you all know that on January 1st, Sears will be offering oil changes for $19.99, and they come with a $10 Valvoline rebate. This is a one day only rebate that will be available on January 1, 2010. I strongly encourage you to call your location to see if they are offering this deal. Let us know what you find out!

Thank SD!

My husband just called our Sears in the Cleveland Ohio area and they are doing the oil change special you mentioned. The rebate is in the form of a $10 check – made out to Sears – so you have to spend it at Sears. $19.99 is a good price and the man on the phone at Sears said there will be a lot of people working, so there shouldn’t be huge lineups. We’ll give it a try!

and you have to spend the $10 on auto service
I wish it would just be $10 at Sears period

the $19.99 includes the filter LOL
for some reason the link someone shared says you can buy the oil change for $16.50, excluding the filter, but the filter is $3.49 making the total $19.99.

you’re suppose to change the filter when you change the oil…that’s silly…

I came back here to check out the post because our Sears is claiming to know nothing about it.
After reading again I see it’s not $9.99 but $19.99 with the $10 rebate….
We have appointments for both vehicles tomorrow but won’t do it without the deal.

We did go get our oil changed today
the offer is in the form of a $10 certificate good towards your next service at Sears auto.
The employees thought it was a crappy deal….but in the long run, the special was $10 off normal price, meaning that once we send in our receipts and get our certificates back, we can also get our next oil change for the $19.99 price….and better yet, there might be another deal out at that time too.

The offer is limited to 2 per mailing address or family too.

I WENT AND HAD THE OIL CHANGE AT SEARS FOR $19.99. IT TOOK FOREVER FOR MY REBATE CHECK TO ARRIVE IN THE MAIL. WHEN I TOOK IT BACK TO THE VERY SAME SEARS, AND THE VERY SAME MECHANIC THAT TOLD ME IT WAS A GOOD DEAL, HE CLAIMED TO KNOW NOTHING ABOUT IT, OR HOW I WAS TO SPEND THE CHECK SINCE IT IS MADE OUT TO SEARS.
