Could you throw this in smoothies the same you’d do with flaxseed?
Angela, I think so…..but the texture would be different. (I’ve never done that with my flaxseed meal…but I will now!)
I use flaxmeal in my smoothie every morning, can’t taste it at all and adds omega-3. I use 1-2 tbsp, max.
Yup, I use either chia or flax. Today is chia.

We use this as a substitute for eggs in ALL our baking! And to coat our pork chops! YUM!
from what I’ve learned our bodies can’t absorb the nutrients from flax unless it’s ground. I use the meal in my smoothies too. I add it to bread and other baked goods as well.
