Many of you have read about my son’s story in the past. My first experience in parenting, was having a son with a heart condition. As you can imagine, our first few years were filled with constant worrying on my part. That’s what Moms do best right? I’ve been through several thermometers, and none have worked as quickly, or seem to have given me as accurate results as the new Braun ThermoScan Ear Thermometer that I was sent.
With a squirmy little guy, it’s important that I get a quick and accurate reading. This thermometer does both, and has a really nice sleek and easily portable design. My only qualm with it is the disposable caps that come with it. These are definitely a choking hazard if a child gets a hold of one, so it is important to keep this well out of reach of children, and dispose of the small plastic covers after use.
Despite that one flaw, this thermometer is easy to use, and I really like that I can check my son’s temperature easily without disturbing his sleep. The pre-warming feature on the tip is by far my favorite feature. With it being so cold right now, the kids don’t freak out when I insert this into their ears because the tip is already warm.

Oh I need a new one. I had recived one as a gift at my daughter’s baby shower (who is now 2 1/2) and i was working great until it something sticky on it. So now its broke and I am so very sad because with 3 kids its a must!!

This thermometer looks great and reliable! I recently purchased a “store” brand/cheap digital thermometer and realized it definitely fits the old saying “You get what you pay for!” My temperature read 95.7? And at the doctors office theirs recorded 100.1. Will never buy a cheap one again!

Having a reliable thermometer seems hard to find. My son is at his Grandma’s during the day when I’m at work and we only have one thermometer. It would be great to win this so we can have one at each house, just in case!

Please pick me! My daughter has Autoimmune Neutropenia and has to go to the hospital with any fever over 101. Because she’s Neutropenic, we cannot do rectal temperatures. During her hospitalization last year, they used an ear thermometer like this. We bought one immediately but it’s wearing out quickly with as much as I check her temperature! I truly rely on this thermometer for my daughter when she’s warm. It would be wonderful to win this!
