walgreens disney toy deals Cheap Cheap Toys at Walgreens!

UPDATE: You might want to get a small filler since the coupon takes you under $25.  I am not sure what the registers will do, and I don’t want you all to miss out on your $5 Register Reward.

Are you ready for an incredible deal?  Here we go…

Walgreens has a ton of toys $6.99, and they are Buy One Get One Free!  Walgreens also has a deal going on right now where you earn $5 in Register Rewards when you spend $25.  Plus, they have a 15% off your entire purchase coupon available for Facebook Fans HERE.

Here’s how to work the deal:

  • Buy 8 Toys @ $6.99 (4 become free with the sale)
  • Total: $27.96
  • Use the 15% off coupon
  • Total: $23.76
  • Earn $5 Register Reward

It’s like paying $2.35 per toy!  And these aren’t just cheap junky toys.  They have a ton of Disney toys available!  Let us know what deals you get, and how your scenarios play out! I suggest getting out early, as they are probably going to sell out of all the good toys quickly.

Thanks to A Thrifty Mom for the deal and the photo!  She had an awesome shopping trip!

If you end of spending $23 do you still get the $5 coupon?

You should because the register reward is generated from your before coupon total.

You would NOT get the $5 RR because your subtotal is below $25. The F&F discount is not a coupon, it’s basically using the employee discount. You would need to add a “filler” of around $1.24 to get the $5 RR.

Misty is correct. The 15% comes off as the items ring, so that discount does NOT count toward the $25. Even if you give the coupon at the end (I did), they have to cancel the whole order, key in a code FIRST, and then re-ring everything.

So if I understand correctly the 15% is applied before coupons?

Does anyone know if this toy deal applies to those of us in the short ad areas? I don’t recall seeing it in our ad. Thanks!

Yes, the 15% is applied in the beginning, and each item is automatically calculated with the discount as the cashier rings it up.

Thanks for the heads up on the BOGO deal! I stopped by my usual Wags, but they didn’t have anything good. I’ll have to stopped by a larger Walgreens tomorrow…fingers crossed they have some of the items pictured ;-)

I went to use my 15% and was advise that I would not get 5RR due to being a employee discount. So may be better not use because you would save more by just getting the RR.

Be sure not to use your $5 RR from spending $25 last week – when you are going for the $5/$25 this week. Like all other RR – if you use it to pay for the transaction you won’t get the new $5 RR. Viva paper towel limit is one.

RR were Dec 17 ONLY – I didn’t read the ad well and so I didn’t get the $5 register reward – but I can’t complain …still a GREAT buy! I got Discovery Channel toys and Knex toys, Disney princess jewlery design kit and a doll. Worth the trip!!
