I have a question about the ECB deals that require you to spend a certain amount and then recieve ECB’s. Do they add up the total spent before coupons or after?

For example if I want to buy $15 in Clean & Clear products this week to get the $5 ECB’s and I have $10 in coupons. My total out of pocket will be $5 after coupons. Do I still get the ECB or do I need to spend an additional $10 on Clean & Clear products?

It’s before coupons, so yes you still get the ECB. That’s what makes shopping at CVS so awesome! :)

Thank you Crystal! I just started couponing this week. I had the same question on my mind. Your site is very helpful. Your work is much appreciated.

At what stores have you found the Clean & Clear Morning Burst Cleanser & Refill? I’ve been to 2 CVS stores in Sp Hill and Columbia and they didn’t have it. Thanks!

I run into a small problem at CVS this week with the Loreal ECBs. Since the items I purchased were 75% off they said the $5 ECB would not print. Of course I wasnt happy about that especially after taking the time to get my $15 in products. But in the end the cashier went ahead and gave me the ECB. CVS is so much easier to work with than Walgreens. :)

I totally agree that CVS is easier to work with than Walgreen’s… The Walgreen’s on Hwy 31 in Spring Hill and on north side of Columbia are both pains and not customer service friendly. They no longer give rainchecks on items you get a RR on… I went there 3x last week and never had two of the products I needed.
Kroger was carrying the Clean & Clear Morning Burst.
