If I give the cashier the coupons in the order you say, how does she know how much of my ECB’s to use? Do I have to have it figured out beforehand and tell her? Ex: items cost $5, use ECB receipt that is $4 and have a manufacturers coupon for $2. Do I tell her to just use $3 of the ECB and if so, does the $1 left roll over? Or do I have to buy something that only costs a little so I don’t lose my $1 ECB?

Mary Ann – Hi :) I’m no expert, but have been doing the CVS deals for a long time, so thought I’d give my input :) You always give the ECB last – as if they’re “cash” – you also have to use the full amount – in other words you won’t get anything back so you definitely want to use only the amount of ECB you have to – so if total is $5.25 and you have an ECB that’s $4.00 and another that’s $7.00, you definitely want to use the $4 for that transaction so as not to waste them. I’ve never “told them how” to do anything re: order – but the one thing I’ve done for sure is if you have a $5/25 for example I give that first when the total’s the highest – and then hand the rest of my coupons over. Hope that was helpful and not extra confusing :) Good luck w/getting the deals! :)

Yes, you will lose your ECB. It happened to me once :(

use the whole ECB- or loose it. Find a $1 filler item. Green bag tag would be a good one (if you don’t already have one)

You don’t use your ECBs on this transaction. Use it on your next transaction.

Can the $3.00 Schick Disposable Razor coupon be used on the Schick Hydro? The Hydro is not a disposable razor. Thanks for your help.
