The following review is done by Bobby, aka Mr. TTM.
The Cisco Valet creates a wireless-N Hot Spot wherever you set it up. It was, by far, the easiest wireless network I’ve ever set up. Literally, as fast as I could plug the thing in was how long it took me to be connected to a secured wireless home network. Unlike other wireless products that require 5 to 10 complicated steps to set up, Valet takes only three steps from start to finish. It comes with a set-up key in the form of a USB thumb drive that holds the network information so you can easily set up other computers just by plugging it in and launching the setup. The sleek design also makes it look really cool, which most guys can appreciate!
With the Cisco Valet, parental controls are very easy to set up, which is something that is important to me. Overall, I am happy with the product and will be donating the one Cisco sent me to our local Church, since they are needing good wireless network equipment. I have no doubts that it is a product that will see or surpass their needs. So even if you need a hot spot created for a location larger than a small home, you might want to consider giving the Cisco Valet a try.

this sounds like a great gift. I do all my stuff online from coupons to samples. i live in a little small town and the one grocery store is shuting down so i have to travel to get the best sales. it would make an impact on my life

OMG! We need this! My husband has been bugging me to set up the old archaic Linksys wireless router we have, but I CAN’t because we dont recall the password, and Linksys Tech Support wont help us reset since the one we have is so old! It would be great to use the Cisco Valet in our house. We have a couple of dead spots in some of the most comfortable places for using my laptop. Plus being able to set the printers up on this would be great. I’m really liking the fact it has parental controls too.
