The first time I saw Japanese washi tape I fell in love.  I’m so glad I found out how to make my own before spending a dime.

This tutorial shows you how to make your own fabric tape to decorate to your thrifty heart’s desire.  Using fabric scraps makes this project thoroughly thrifty.

Here is another method that uses ribbon for a simple touch of cute.

Less thrifty, but quicker- I use my Xyron. I get refills with a 40% coupon.
