Earn Gift Cards for Searching the Internet

I’ve had this little button on my side bar for a while, and decided it was worth mentioning in a post.  Swagbucks allows you to search the internet like you would using google, but instead of google profiting from your searches, you do!

Performing searches allows you to earn points.  While you don’t earn points on every search, you can still rack up the points fairly quickly.  This is a great way to earn some gift cards for some shopping online, or for saving on eating out.  I’ve already racked up a few gift cards, and I don’t necessarily use it every day.  I keep forgetting about it, so I need to keep consistently searching with it.

There are a few drawbacks, in all honesty.  I have not been completely happy with the search results at all times, and I wish they had some grocery store gift cards as an option.  But, that put aside, it is nice to rack up those points and get free gift cards to places like Amazon and Pizza Hut.
