I’m going to just be honest here: My kids don’t like my juices. There! I said it! Phew…glad I got that out of the way… Some of my juices they like and will drink, yes, but most of the time they turn up their noses to any of the juices that I make (especially if they are green!). However, there is one juice that I can make that my kids will drink regularly. This juice is basically just an apple juice with a little carrot and spinach thrown in.
This kid-friendly juice tastes just like fresh apple juice, and the kids are none the wiser that I’ve got some greens thrown in there. Juicing has become a very important aspect to healthy living for my family and myself, so it’s important to me that my children get some good juices. With this juice, I know that they are getting something really good for them and they enjoy it at the same time.
It’s so simple to make, so here’s the recipe:
My daughter calls this her “apple juice,” and won’t accept anything else unless it’s her apple juice. Ha! I’m gonna have to work on getting her to try more juices…..
Do you have any juices that you make and your kids enjoy? I’d love to try your recipes! And be sure to check out all of my juicing recipes.
