About half my makeup is ELF and I really like a lot of their products. It seems that I either LOVE the product or HATE it, so here are the ones that I love:

The Bronzing Powder (I use it as blush)
The Liquid Tinted Lotion
The powder and blush brushes
The twist-up lip liner
I also like their minerals eyeshadow (it stays on much better than their regular eyeshadow… and I believe it’s $3 instead of just $1, but worth the extra!)

I like their makeup brushes
I did like some of the Elf Makeup – what I did not like was anything that had a scent – some of the grape and orange was REALLY strong!

I have the tinted moisturizer and mascara and like both of them. Especially for the price! And the small size of the tinted moisturizer ensures I don’t waste money by throwing away old expired product since I never seem to use a normal size foundation bottle.

The code did not work for me until I had $10 in my cart.

ELF emailed me to let me know the code they sent out was wrong…I corrected the code. Let me know if it works now!

I LOVE Elf makeup, it just so happens that it’s dirt cheap. It might work better on me because I have a pale, pink complexion? I don’t know!

There are several products I use on a daily basis and I am a little bit of a Diva :) These are the products I use:

The Nourishing Cuticle Pen (is amazing!!!)
The Healthy Glow Bronzing Powder (people ask me all the time if my bronzer is from MAC, but I would never pay all that money for MAC bronzer!

I used to use the ELF eyeliner but it looks like they changed their colors. Lucky for me, I stocked up the last time I ordered and bought 4 because I knew it worked so well with my skin.

I agree with Rachel. Half of the products I received in my last mini kit are terrible…just total garbage. The other half are surprisingly good. Wait, I’d go so far as to say great. And I typically only use MAC, so I’m pretty picky. But they have great colors, are long lasting, & go on easily.

It’s definintely worth trying the products out & even if you only get about 50% that are good, well…it’s still a great bargain, ya know?

I also buy Elf makeup alot and not only do they have great prices but there seems to always be a freebie included. I receive both Glamour and Lucky magazines that were freebies.

Products I love:
-the makeup brushes are very good quality
-all the lip glosses, especially the candy shop lip tins
-mineral eye shadow and cream eye shadow
-eyelid primer – works great at preventing the cream eyeshow from creasing

Products I don’t like:
-the mascara – flakes off and leaves residue under my eyes
-pencil eyeliner – have to press down on my eyelid too hard ouch!
-powder is too dark
-nail polish is so-so, runny/thin, need to apply two coats

But since most products are only $1 you can experiment with different colors and products.

I have only tried the brown liquid eyeliner. It worked fine but literally stunk. I was offended everytime I used it. So it ended up being painted on my youngster’bear nose for Halloween. He didn’t notice the odor.
