I’ve mentioned before that even if you don’t have a Kindle, you can get free books on Amazon delivered to your phone or PC.  Once you’ve downloaded the software in order to read books without a Kindle, how do you find deals on books?  The Kindle Store has a ton of free books, that you will potentially never lack for reading.  Here’s a few tips to help you find free books:

  • Go to the Kindle Store How to Find Free Book Downloads on Amazon and go to the Best Sellers category How to Find Free Book Downloads on Amazonon the left side.  People are skilled at finding the free books, and the new free books usually end up at the top of the best sellers list.
  • In any category, sort by price (Low to High) and you will see all of the free books first.
  • Once you consistently download free books, Amazon will start recommending more free books for you.  So, just keep an eye on your recommendations.

A few free books available to get you started:

I always like to read through a few reviews before downloading even a free book, so that I know if it might be something worth reading.  What are some of your tips for free reading?  Do you use Amazon, or some other site to get cheap or free books?  Let us know in the comment section!

I like to always check on Tuesday. New books come out on Tuesdays, so publishers are more likely to release freebies on that day. That said, not all free releases are done on that day but most are. So I personally check almost every day. Also the first day of the month or within a couple there after nets a mass release of free Kindle books. Sometimes as many as 15 at once. Sometimes those books will lasts for weeks on end, sometimes just a day or two. Always check within a day or two of the first of the month.

Since Jan. 1st I’ve collected over 350 free Kindle books and loving it. I can’t believe how much money that has saved me!

I have some particular publishers that I tend to like a lot of things from. I found that you can search by the publisher and then sort by price. That helps if you’re looking for something more specific.
