Before we get into the subject of purchasing more healthy items, let’s talk about exercise. All the healthy eating in the world won’t necessarily help you if you aren’t staying fit and active. If you aren’t regularly exercising, you are more susceptible to heart attack and a myriad of other issues including an unhealthy weight. So this week, let’s make it a goal of working on our fitness levels.
Easy ways to exercise:
- Walking
- Dancing
- Gardening/Yard Work
- Wii Fit or Other Wii Active Games
- Workout videos
- Ride a bike
How to stay committed:
- Keep it simple
- Limit it so you don’t get overwhelmed
- Find a buddy to workout with
Later in the week I will talk about fitness more in depth, but for now, let’s set some personal goals.
Baby Step for Week 3: Start walking or doing a simple excercise routine three days this week for 20 minutes each day. Don’t push yourself, and keep it very simple.
The important thing to do is to just start getting active. And let us know what you will be doing here in the comment section, so we can encourage each other.

i try to do 30 minutes of walking and 30 minutes of wii fit each day
Thanks for the reminder..it’s 15 minutes on the treadmill for me, I’m still in the beginning phase but have been bad ’cause I skipped an entire week. Ugh.
I’ve been running in the backyard with my two year old , it definitely wears me out. This week it is supposed to rain a lot so I started looking at some of the old work out videos that I own, but never use.

I was sick all of last week, so I got out of my daily routine. I like to spend about 30 mins on the treadmill each day. If it is nice outside, then we also walk in the evenings!
crystal what fitness exercise do you do daily, or the recommended 3 days a week?
