We went out to the free Veggie Tales event that was going on at Family Christian stores today.  Grandma got to go with us, so we had a blast!

Not only did we have fun and get to see the new movie, but I was so excited to see that they have big clearance sales going on.  Many items in the store are clearanced 50-75% off or more.  We got a bunch of Veggie Tales T-shirts that were clearanced 75% off.  I also found some other things that were clearanced 90% off, that I will use as great Christmas presents (sorry, can’t give away what I found, but believe me it is incredible!).

I also got in on the Veggie Tales movie deal.  On the posters they were handing out, there was a $3 off coupon for the new Minnesota Cuke DVD.  Plus, on the DVD display was a $3 rebate!  The movies are on sale for $12.97, so after coupon and rebate the price will be $6.97.  AND, we got a free umbrella for purchasing the DVD.  That was a sweet deal!

After this event, we went on over to Whole Foods and I did a little shopping:

I remember when the Family Christian Store was promoting BOZ. We went to see it early on a Saturday morning and picked up goodies as well.

How do you get things so cheaply at Whole Foods? How are you getting organics so cheaply? I would love for my family to eat more organics, but price has been an issue. Thanks for your help!
