7 day detox Free 7 Day Detox Printable

If you are subscribed to my profile on Facebook, then you probably know that I’m currently doing a 7-day-detox. I’ve had a lot of people asking me for more details. Right now I am on day four of my detox, and am feeling good. I already feel like my waistline is slimmer, too!

To embark on this detox, I made myself an easy printable that I could use as my guide and put on my refrigerator. Then I thought, well maybe I should make it so everyone can print this!

Go print your free 7-day detox printable here. I started a discussion in my community on this last week. If you decide to embark on this detox, join the discussion in the community to get support, have your questions answered and just have a fun place to chat with like-minded health-nuts and myself.

Special Tips:

  • If you don’t want to eat meat, you can substitute whole grain rice in this detox.
  • I mixed hemp protein powder with carrot juice to add extra protein in my diet.
  • Avocado is a great fruit to eat on the days when you are supposed to eat fruit, because it adds in good fats to your detox.
  • For any cooking of vegetables that you do with this detox, do not use any other oil besides coconut oil.
  • Do not consume any alcohol while on this detox.
  • Consult a professional before you embark on any sort of detox or major diet change.

Can I assume that “milk” could be in any form? I am not a cow milk drinker :) I can’t wait to do this!

I like the way this sounds. Can you please tell me how you feel and what has happened since you started your detox? Do you have to run to the bathroom? The soup sounds really good. On the GM site you have they added onion soup to it. I can’t wait.

Have you lost any lbs yet?

It seems like the only reason you would lose weight on this detox is because you’re eating almost all fruits/veggies. I would think that you could eat any combination of an all produce diet for a week and lose weight and feel healthier and detox your body.

Okay this may be silly to some but I don’t see coffee on here. I want to do this but no coffee for a week? Can I do it?!?!?! Does anyone else struggle with giving up coffee? I think I can, I think I can, I think I can.

I was just thinking that exact same thing about the coffee!

You can do coffee, but can’t add any cream or sugar to it. Just black.

Oh and trust me, that has been the hardest part about this so far. You all know I love my coffee!

Okay, that is helpful. Maybe this will wean me off flavored creamers which I enjoy a bit too much. All this talk of coffee, I think I will go enjoy a cup, with cream, before I start my detox this week.

Oh and I haven’t checked my weight yet. I will check it at the end of the detox.

I too love my cream. I use local honey in my coffee. My seasonal allergies are gone now that I use the honey. I am planning on the detox next week. Thanks for sharing!

Your body naturally detoxs itself. The detox wave is just another fad and many of these “detox” plans can be dangerous.

Hey Lisa! With so many bad foods in our diets, and people being exposed to so many toxins on a constant basis, I do believe it is necessary to do a body detox at least twice a year. This is my personal opinion of course. Healthy begins in the gut, and it the gut is constantly toxic, then the body is toxic.

Heathy eating and healthy lifestyle is the answer. I have never heard of a doctor recommending detox. This is as you stated ~your opinion but i strongly recommend people do some research before following. Here is one good article. http://www.healthytheory.com/do-detox-diets-really-work

Do you have any idea what that this diet would do to diabetics? Day 2 would send them in to high sugar levels, as would all the fruit. Beware.

Thanks Crftysahm! That’s why I noted that people should talk to a doctor before starting this.

How much are you relying on the ‘special soup’ to get you by? Just as a matter of personal taste, I don’t eat most of those ingredients, but is the soup necessary?

Reply

Crystal Collins September 29, 2011 at 12:51 pm

Not very much. I’m on day six and have had the soup a total of four times now.

I just came back to see how it went and saw the comments. Can I just say that first this isn’t supposed to be a diet or at least I don’t believe TTM is using it that way. A real detox should be used once in a blue moon to get the gunk out of your intestinal tract. My gastro has given me meds to do this and I’d rather use something natural. Of course if you are a bit constipated you could have some “weight” to lose ;-) There are other cleansing plans a diabetic may be able to do, like I have food allergies you need to be smart about it :-)
