I downloaded it yesterday and read it already. Great book!
I just got a Kindle at the beginning of June and I’ve downloaded several dozen of their freebies – from adult classics (I just got an Edith Wharton title tonight) to kids’ books (the Oz series, the Bobbsey Twins). I spotted Love Comes Softly last night and snagged it as well as Treason, a Dan Brown book. Handy!
I’ve noticed they seem to be adding new free titles each week – not just the public domain books but things that I’ve read before (like Love Comes Softly) that aren’t “classics” per se but are still good reads that I normally just pick up at the library here and there. Fun!
I am a HUGE fan of the Love Comes Softly series…Janette Oke is a wonderful author. I have also seen all of the Hallmark Love Comes Softly movies and they are tremendous!! Very heartwarming stories that display the love of God and how He can bring us through any trial or tribulation.
I give it 3 thumbs up…well, that would be if I had a third thumb
