Amazon is offering Jamie Oliver’s 20 Minute Meals Android App for free today. The deal expires in about 16 hours, so grab this free app HERE.

Jamie’s Oliver’s Food Revolution is one of my favorite shows, and I love how he is trying to revolutionize the way people in the U.S. eat.

Note: This free app is for Android phones only. Please verify the price is still free before downloading.

Shoot! I just looked it up in the iPhone app store and it’s $7.99! Geesh!

Not to be all “neener neener neener,” but I downloaded it to my tablet this morning. :-) I doubt if it’ll beat Mark Bittman’s “How to cook everything” app (totally worth its cost!), but it should be wonderful.

They have it for iPhone too! I’ve had it for about a year now, recipes are delicious!

I just downloaded it. I haven’t used the amazon app store before, it said free but then asked me to enter a payment method in the set up. Is that normal? Anyone? I can see how it may be for the use of the app store…and it did say “free” on the app so I think I’m ok, but just wondering…

Melissa, don’t come after me if I’m wrong, but I’m pretty sure you have to set up a payment method before you download anything, and whenver you “purchase” a free app they send you a “thank you for your $.00 purchase” email. Just part of the system, I think, whether you spend any actual money or not.

I’m pretty sure that’s right Jennifer. I get the same thing when I download something free from the iphone app store.

Not to poo-poo things, but it really seems to be a very “buggy” app. Screens don’t display correctly on my Galaxy tablet, and it crashed several times in the first bit of use. All of which is strange since I hear the iPhone version is very good. But, maybe it is free for a reason? Hopefully, it is only temporary or just my device, but be forewarned.
