I think target or walgreens gift cards are an awesome giveaway because they have such awesome deals all the time that having a gift card to pay for small OOP’s makes it that much sweeter!!

I would love to see a Kindle giveaway. Just recently I saw a handmade coupon binder being given away – that looked awesome and might be a good fit for your site. And yes, gift cards are good, too. For example – I would love to win a new dryer (ours is on its last legs) but shipping one isn’t practical! A gift card to Home Depot, though, is possible!

I think an I-pod docking station with speakers would be a great giveaway. I personally love to listen to music while I’m cleaning, cooking, cutting my coupons, etc. and something more portable would be great. I know if I had one my husband would be grateful because then I wouldn’t have to blast my music loudly across the house.
Also gift cards to places like Lowes would be great since summer is coming up and that means time for yard work and outdoor play.

Giveaways are always great. I usually haven’t participated in them mainly because I never win. As far as what kind do I like I usually would go for gadgets or items that I would consider a luxury or item that I want but wouldn’t spend the money on for myself. So small kitchen or household items, Handy homeschool or organizational items. Will definitely be adding on facebook. I spend way too much time on there too.

What a great giveaway idea! I know a lot of people are suggesting giveaways with broad appeal but I think more specific giveaways in a broad number of categories would be nice. I like giveaways for things that I might not try for full price but if I win it it’s something of a treat and great for trying new products. For instance, one month you could give away a wonderful cloth diaper, the next month a gift basket of green cleaning supplies, the next month an aluminum kid’s sippy cup, then a nursing cover, a store credit to a coupon clipping service, a subscription to All You magazine, etc.

Anything to make our life as a mom easier. And an ipod does that perfectly! For me, it would come in handy when I’m pushing the stroller to catch up on podcasts and teleseminars that I just don’t have time for when there are always a million other things to do in those magic nap hours.. Other ideas would be daytimers/electronic daytimers, family organizational calendars and gift cards are always a hit (oh God, especially Starbucks!).

I think that since this site promotes ways to save money that pre-loaded money cards would be awesome. Like the Visa cards you can buy at CVS, etc. Pretty much anything that is free would be awesome.

As far as giveaways? Since I’m brand new, I would love to see anything dealing with organization (I’m kind of an organizing addict). I love the ipod shuffle since it’s so motivating to get outside and walk, so workout stuff is great too!

Anything I wouldn’t normally buy for myself (I’m way to cheap too). I don’t like the idea of gift cards because not all stores are everywhere, there isn’t a whole foods, earth fare, or publix in my area.

Giveaways I’d love to win: Stuff for my kids (twin 4-year-old boys) — gift certificates to Children’s Place, Gymboree, Old Navy/Gap, Land’s End, LL Bean… clothing retailers that offer rugged kids’ supplies at a reasonable price (OK, The Gap and Gymboree are overpriced, but can combine gift certs. with sale/clearance prices to even it out); also, Ikea for furniture, decor, organizers; Target, Walmart and KMart for general stuff, including groceries. Would LOVE a gift card for Publix, but realize not all areas have them. In general: places I can buy needed items for my kids…So that maybe I’ll have something left over at the end of the month to treat myself. OR a gift cert to Outback, Stonewood, or another chain restaurant, so my DH and I can go out and reaquaint ourselves w/ each other. (BONUS: a night or two at a chain motel/hotel and one or two nights’ babysitting $$$!)

Hi, I have only been couponing for about a month and your blogs is one of the first I found. I check it every day. I have learned alot and am looking forward to looking back in 6 months to see how far I’ve come.
Anyway, as for giveaways… I am sure your followers are quite varied in demographics and family composition. I live rural so most store gift cards or restaurant type deals would not be appealing. The ipod is very nice as I wouldn’t buy it for myself and could use it for a nice gift. Perhaps you could do something seasonal for instance spring is around the corner, so perhaps something that can be enjoyed outdoors be it a badmitten game, new chair cushions for the outdoor area or some gardening type of items. Hey, how about an annual Sunday only subscription to the winners newspaper of choice. Or make it fun for yourself, shop some art galleries and find some neat pieces of functional art to use as giveaways. No matter what, I am sure any thing you offer will have some great responses.
