Healing Naturally Can Be Inexpensive

My son is doing much better today! Thank you so much for all of you that have sent encouraging words and prayers our way. I’m inspired to talk about healing naturally.

Being a natural mama, as well as a thrifty mama, I try to do things as naturally as I am able to do. I thought I would share how I am taking care of my son’s “cold.” The day before yesterday he starts coughing, and having a runny nose. It was hard at first for me to figure out what was going on. Because of the heart condition he has, he could be getting this due to his heart, or he could be coming down with something. Well, I immediately started him on just a yogurt and fruit diet. I also added in some extra Bifidophilus to his yogurt, started spooning him liquid Kyolic, and using a grapefruit spray up his nose. These are things that are amazing at helping the body heal itself.

I can’t give enough praise to Kyolic! This product is simply amazing. I use to suffer from chronic urinary tract infections, and would be on antibiotics all the time for it (little did I know, I was depleting myself of the good bacteria my body needed to stay healthy). Someone suggested I start taking some liquid Kyolic in capsules. When I felt a urinary tract infection coming on, I took two of these every couple of hours. To my shock and amazement, I never got the infection!! This was amazing to me, since I was use to getting them about every three months. Every time I felt one coming on, I would take some Kyolic, and the infection would go away. I have not since had a urinary tract infection, and I don’t have to take the Kyolic all the time.

Well, needless to say I started using this for any type of infections we encounter. It works like a natural antibiotic. My daughter started coming down with the sniffles just like her brother. Because I started spooning this imediately to her, she has not gotten sick.

The other thing that is necessary is good bacteria like Acidophilus and Bifidophilus. Antibiotics deplete our bodies of this bacteria, and it is this bacteria that helps our immune systems. With the cold weather about to come on, I suggest getting these three products so that you are prepared: Kyolic, some Pro-biotics, and a Grapefruit Spray.

Don’t beat yourself up over having to use some unnatural things as well, though. Because my son has a history of febrile seizures and a heart condition, he has been taking Ibuprofen and Tylenol around the clock. But, as I was giving him these things, I gave him Bifidophilus, Kyolic, and used a grapefruit spray up his nose. I’m glad to report we are doing better today.

How do these products save me money as well? I didn’t have to use the gas to go to the doctor’s office, pay a co-pay at the doctor’s office, and I didn’t have to pay a co-pay on a prescription. I also saved time by staying at home, and having my son heal faster. Time is money right? I had these ready on hand, so that we could quickly get over the illness. And I had the pleasure of knowing I was helping my son naturally heal.

How to get these natural products cheaply:
I buy most of my natural products from Vitacost. I’ve done a lot of research, and this company has the cheapest prices of anyone. You can even get things from them like Burt’s Bees, Dr. Brohnners, Herbs, Teas, Organic foods, and even gluten- free foods.
I buy my stuff there using Ebates, and I make cash back on all my purchases. So I save even more money buying my natural products from them. If you haven’t signed up for Ebates, I highly recommend it. You save a ton of money shopping online with it! It doesn’t cost anything, and they actually give you $5 for signing up.

Recommended Reading: Back to Eden By Jethro Kloss. This is an older book that is time tested and true! I use this to help me find natural ways to heal almost anything.

So, what kind of things do you use to help your family heal naturally?
