Wow, that is impressive and also very inexpensive. I wonder if it would be an effective way to heat my house? I may have to try that one out! Thanks for bringing it to my attention!

THat was quite interesting. It does seem like it would work. We have southern facing windows that just by themselves have helped heat our house a lot. We have been having many days with temperatures that stay below zero but our propane company tells us that we aren’t using enough propane for them to keep up on automatic refill. We aren’t upset about not using much propane! :-) I might have to try this and see if can become even less!

I have not tried this, but one thing to keep in mind is that for this to work well enough to heat a room in your home, it needs to be relatively sunny, not cloudy in order for the contraption to generate heat. Where I live, there are only a handful of sunny days in the winter time.

It would be worth it if you’re truly really into this stuff though, and definately worth the satisfaction of curiousity. g-luck

But why would you heat your house in the summer?

come on people!

you already have heat if the sun is shining in your window.DUH!

Just how much heat do you think a few pennys will store.

To store heat it needs to be large volumes of water or stone/brick.

Silly if you try this
