Trade Secret also has a coupon for 50% off all services. Went to the mall yesterday and the stylist gave me a coupon for 50% off all services and it doesnt expire until December. I have been waiting to get highlights because they are so expensive. The prices normally range from $100-$160. I’m getting my hair shampooed, cut, styled, colored, and highlighted today for only $67.50. So checkout your local Trade Secret. The 2 stylist were surprised they would release such a high value coupon. The figured it was to help get business.
As a stylist for 20+ years I can tell you why the 2 stylist were surprised. They had no idea about the coupons being available. That being said you were probably given the coupon by the styist after she cut your hair as a way to build her business. Most new (new to a salon) will do this. Unless this is a company wide promotion I doubt you can walk into a Trade Secrets and ask for or be offered a coupon. As great as the deal you got was I would call first to see if the coupon is available and to whom (new clients, certain stylist ect.)Giving discounts cut stylist commission so they don’t like to do it unless they have to. Hope this helps anyone looking for a deal. Also if you are looking for a deal contact higher-end salon that does alot of training. They may be able to use you as a model for a class. May take a little more time but most of the time is free or very cheap!!
I just got home from getting my hair done. The stylist gave me the coupon when I went in to inquire about pricing and today they were actually passing out the coupons in the food court. This trade secret is in a part of the mall that is not as busy. The coupons were printed on business cards and had the specific location that I went to was listed on it so it may not be store wide. I’m very pleased with how it turned out and my stylist was great, I’ve never colored or highlighted my hair so I was nervous to say the least but she was great. If interested you may want to contact your Trade Secret location to find out if the coupon is available.
