Mason Jar Blender Smoothie 225x300 Natural and Thrifty in 365: #167 Mason Jar Smoothies

This tip is one of my favorites because I just love smoothies.   Did you know that you can attach a mason jar directly to most blenders?  I know!  It’s amazing!  This will help me in making better portion sizes because I always make too much.  Also, there is less to clean afterward.  This makes for quicker prep for breakfast smoothies because I can portion the fruit the night before and place the jar in the freezer.

What will you make in your mason jar blender besides smoothies?

I don’t get it? I don’t see how it would attach, I mean I can see how it “could” but once you turn it upside down wouldn’t the ingredients fall out? Or am I missing the picture here?

Jen, the blade screws onto the top of the jar just as it does the bottom of the regular blender pitcher. So it seals everything in.

I am trying this right now! Awesome! My husband is going to love this! He loves smoothies in the morning, but time and clean up hinder him at times….not anymore! Thanks so much!
