The following is one of the giveaways that will be posted every hour as part of my Mother’s Day Extravaganza celebration in conjunction with my BlogFrog community.
Mmmm!! Subway has started serving breakfast along with all the great subs that they regularly offer. Here’s a little bit of info about their new breakfasts:
SUBWAY breakfast offerings feature a variety of sandwiches ranging from our Western Egg White Muffin Melt, only 4 grams of fat for a quick snack, to a more filling meal with a Steak, Egg and Cheese sandwich. When Building Your Better Breakfast, don’t forget to customize! Unlike most quick serve breakfast offerings, all of our breakfast sandwiches come on your choice of English muffins, subs or flatbread with a variety of veggies and toppings.
Subway sent me and my family a gift card so that we could try them out again, and I am happy to say they seemed to have improved since the last time I reviewed them. Their ingredients seem fresher, and I really enjoyed having my subs on their whole wheat bread! We did try the new breakfasts as well, and everything was great including the tasty flatbread, except for the eggs. The eggs seem to have been pre-made into a flat round circle and frozen. Fresh eggs would be far better, and I want to reiterate again, that I think Subway should start offering more organic products on their menu. That would be an exciting day for me!

We like to get their $5 footlongs and split it. One for me and DH and one for the kids to split. Yum.
We are going on a very long road trip from Fl to Ohio with our three little ones and usually pack a cooler with healthy snacks. The ONLY place we actually buy food along the way is Subway since it is also healthy and not roadside “junk food”.

My son ate Subway all the way through chemo. He couldn’t eat anything fried or greasy and this was the only other choice in the hospital. Now we go to Subway over other fast food any time we’re on the road.
