When we had a glass cooktop, the manufacturer’s instructions suggested we buy expensive “special” cleaner. Those little bottles didn’t even clean that well.

i tried this and it didnt work for me
I just use baking soda and a damp cloth, scrubbing then buffing with a dry cloth (like waxing a car) it works well.
