I’m sure you’ve heard of the cleaning power of citrus. Maybe you’ve even bought cleaners with some kind of citrus essenial oil in them. But I’m guessing you haven’t made a cleaner quite like this before. Here’s what you need:
Grapefruit Bathroom Cleaner
Ingredients:
- Grapefruit
- Salt
Oh yes. That’s it. Could it be any easier? Here’s what you do.
Directions:
1. First, wet the shower/tub/sink or whatever bathroom surface you need to clean.
2. Sprinkle the salt all over the areas that you put water on in the bathroom.
3. Cut your grapefruit in half.
4. Using the grapefruit like a sponge, start scrubbing! Make sure you squeeze the grapefruit as you are going along so that nice citrusy juice gets all over.
5. When you are done, rise off the area you cleaned with water or wipe down with a wet rag.
6. Enjoy your clean bathroom!

Baking soda works great too in place of salt!
Oh my gosh…just this morning while in the shower I was hope there was a good all natural homemade cleaner the bathroom I could make! Yipee.
I’d have a hard time to keep myself from licking the tub – I love grapefruit!
I bet this smells awesome! So much better than nasty chemicals!
Totally going to try this. Think it would work with lemons or oranges too?
I do!
I will have to do this! My bathroom will smell so good after cleaning with grapefruit then using my new pink grapefruit body wash from body shop ( that I got such a great deal on!!!)
I might like this idea a LOT better if Grapefruits weren’t costing a whopping $1.79 EACH here lately. Giant Eagle! they’re only 20 cents cheaper at WalMart. ICK!
totally doing this!
I love these great natural tips. They are so simple that it’s hard to believe that I didn’t of it. I am so going to try this with grapefruit and lemons and limes!
