Many of you really liked the coconut oil deal that was posted the other day. Amazingly enough, this deal is actually better. Amazon has Nutiva Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, 54-Ounce Containers (Pack of 2)
If you go through this stuff like we do, you’ll be getting a better price buying the bigger tubs. Here’s my latest favorite using coconut oil:
- 4 T softened coconut oil
- 1 T organic garlic powder or crushed garlic cloves
- 1 tsp organic onion salt
Mix ingredients together and spread on bread. Lightly toast the bread, and you have instant garlic bread to serve with your dinner.

Can you use this on skin too?
I use this on my skin and in my hair as a leave in moisturizer. This is the best thing for my skin.
I use coconut oil to pop popcorn with! It tastes similar to movie theater popcorn, which is popped in the artery-clogging hydrogenated version.
making pop corn with coconut oil is my new fav. snack. Doesn’t need any butter! Just some salt and its soooooo gooooood!
Oh I do this, too! Add sucanat next time instead of salt for a really nice treat!
Keep one jar in the kitchen and one in the bathroom. I too use it on my skin and hair, plus you can use it as a makeup remover, lip gloss, lubricant, bath oil, skin scrub(mix with sugar or salt first) eyelash/brow conditioner.
