UPDATE: Some of you are reporting that this deal is only for 1 box of six bars. As it stands, it is still showing me that it is for six boxes of six. If it was an error, I’m assuming Amazon would have had it fixed by now.
So if this is some sort of error on Amazon’s part, then wait for your order to arrive. If it does not arrive as it should, then you can contact Amazon about it. If they decided not to honor what you have paid for, then you can contact the Better Business Bureau after that. Otherwise, you can cancel your order if you like. But I’m of the opinion that this deal is still good.

Supposedly this is a glitch. If you look at the comments about this offer on moneysavingmom.com or http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/hot-deals/945191 people have only been getting one box. Vitamin Shoppe told one lady that called in that it is definitely an error on Amazon. Too bad.
Well I wish it was the case, but even if it’s one box, I had a 5 dollar amazon card so I ended up only paying 1 dollar for the box, so I still got a good deal, but maybe *cross my fingers* it will be the case
Well if you do have a Whole Foods and don’t have the Go Organic Qs (or enough of them) you can go to stoneyfield.com and print $1 Qs there too!
Well that will stink if I just paid 17 bucks for only 3 boxes =( I will be upset.
I am truly not gonna be happy if its one box….cause I didnt use my amazon gift card, lol, totally forgot about it.
Interesting comments, but why would ‘regular’ list price of one box be $24 as they suggest??

It’s an error. I pulled my posting like others have but I put up a new one with instructions for my readers on how to cancel.
It’s only one box for $4.99. I called Vitamin Shoppe (the third party seller) to verify. Call 1-800-223-1216 (Push #6 when it prompts you.) to cancel your order. I just gave them my Amazon order # and it only took a minute. Aggravating but it happens.

Hi Everyone…I JUST got off the phone with Amazon and was told that my order is for 6 BOXES … and they are showing as shipped/processed. SO …she said that if I only get one box, they will definately fix it (refund…whatever)…
I can’t figure out why everyone is getting different stories, and it does seem like they would have pulled it by now if it is in fact wrong…

That is cool if it works. The thing is Vitamin Shoppe is the one saying it is an error and they are the ones fulfilling the order not Amazon, so wouldn’t they be more accurate since it is from their stock/store?

ok…first of all … I GOT THIS OFFER IN AN AMAZON EMAIL THIS MORNING … they advertised it to me. Second of all … I have confirmed my order with Amazon who shows that I will be shipped a case of 6 boxes (36 bars). If you want to check your order, call amazon customer service at: 1-800-201-7575. If for some reason only one box shows up … I would say that these companies have some serious problem fixing to do. I personally, am going to hope for the best, and worst case senario… it will be a small pain and I will get my money refunded … no big deal
I really hope this deal goes through… but if it doesn’t…please don’t shoot the messenger, lol!!

whew! I am now just getting off of the phone with the Vitamin Shoppe CORPORATE office…who at first told me that they got 1,000s of orders and they will not be shipping 6 boxes. I FREAKED (in a nice way, lol) I explained first, that they send me the deal in an email, and that second… the ad is still up.
So… she tells me that what they are going to do is that once you get your order confirmation from THE VITAMIN SHOP (not amazon) then call them and they will still send you your ONE BOX but they will credit you the full amount charged…so basically…you will get a FREE box. Not quite the deal I wanted…but you win some and you loose some. She said they would go broke trying to fill all these orders of 6.
I then called Amazon who insists that we are still getting a case of 6. whew. what a fiasco.
Looks like in the end though… not a huge deal, and at the very least, a free box of snacks. (these thingy’s better be good!!)

I received my email from the vitamin shop and yeah a ton of us ordered these bars lol mine are on back order for 2 weeks, but now I have another question, isn’t them giving all of us (assuming we all call) a free box of snacks expensive too?

see that is what really confuses me KeriLyn, is that if this was a “typo” on Amzaon’s site, then why does the vitamin shop say the same thing, my email from the vitamin shop says 6 boxes, but yet the vitamin shop says its a typo on amazon? Interesting…

I think that they should all back up their “typo” because you are right…all invoices and emails are still saying 6 boxes… you would think that this would have gotten changed RIGHT away. I am a little excited to see what happens
LOL KeriLyn, it just struck me as odd that the vitamin shop was laying the typo blame on the amazon webiste yet the vitamin shop email had the same typo itself, lol we will see b/c if I get one box I think I will contact the vitamin shop and I can send them back the email they sent me for proof lol
You know…I was so bummed about this deal earlier…and now I am getting such a kick out of it … and Thrifty Mama has the best attitude and it has totally helped me to change mine…I am excited to see who steps up and what they do about this offer.

how about this UPDATE : LOL I got a second email from vitamin shop, saying that my order has been pushed back even further and that my new shipping date is some time in September lol but the email STILL states 6 boxes, haha so I am curious as to what the turn out will be, cause that is a long time to wait for those bars but hey I will wait 
I think too many people got way too upset over this deal, when it still looked and does look legit. I don’t know what the issue is. I always recommend you don’t call companies about online deals, because you can get different information from different representatives (ie Amazon saying one thing, and the other store saying another), and then rumors spread across the internet. If it’s a bad deal, the company will deal with it later, so just go ahead and order (just my take). The deal may very well fall through, but I’m going to laugh and take a picture if all these boxes arrive on my doorstep.
Me too TTM, lol what I was upset about (so to speak cause truth be told I really am not that upset lol) was the fact that soooo many people blow things outta proportion. And you are right, one company is going to tell you one thing and another company will tell you another
So that is what I plan on doing is just waiting, i mean yeah I used a GC on it, but I am not out anything, I didn’t have to pay for the card, it was free and I only pd 1.12 oop for it, so even if I only get one box, oh well. But so far it looks like the offer is for 6 boxes and I will take a pic to and we can both post it LOL if it is a case. It is very easy for rumors to spread over silly things and we all know rumors can be incredibly hurtful especially when the rumors turn out to be false are just hyped from wrapped to tight people. So yeah I will just wait and see what arrives lol 
Well my order was cancelled this morning.
Got the same email…and of course got right on the phone:
call Amazon: 1-800-201-7575 and they will work with you (they credited my account $4.99 for future purchases for my time and trouble)
Then call the Vitamin Shoppe
1-866-293-3367 … and I would also tell them how you feel. They are overwhelmed, but trying to figure this out. I talked to corporate this morning and they are supposed to call me back when they have a “plan”. I was originally told that they would send the one box of bars, and credit the account, but now they are saying that is for anyone who already receieved their bars.
Anyway…it’s all good… no one was charged and hopefully everyone will get a little something…
Amazon said they are dealing with it on a case by case basis…so I would for sure give them a call.
It has been a great learning experience for me, and I have met some really cool people because of this deal…so I think I came out ahead in the end
I hate that this was a bummer deal…but I so appreciate everyone being so kind!

I had ordered 2 boxes, received the order e-mail and then the back order e-mail, and today the cancel e-mail. I called Amazon as KeriLyn suggested and asked if they could reinstate my order or honor the original price but fulfill through Amazon – the gentleman was unable to do either but did make an order exception and credit my account $10 which is the amount I had pd for the 2 cases previously… I think I’ll go to whole foods and pick up a box for $1.25 after coupons and use the credit toward some REALLY CHEAP organic dressing!!! Thanks Thrifty Mama!
LOL Yeah I got the same 2 emails and then the cancel email, lol they refunded my gc so I am fine, so really nothing to get upset about.
