Total Cost: $3.16
I received two packages of groceries today. The first package (which was thrown at our door), was Zoe Extra Virgin Olive Oil that I ordered from Amazon on Saturday. I did this Amazon deal here, and used my Swagbucks to make the order of olive oil absolutely FREE!
The other items in the photo came with an Alice.com order. I received a $20 gift card at an event I went to back in February, and the entire order ended up being $3.16. What I got:
- Pacific Saving Company All Natural Shaving Cream
- Jolly Time Organic Yellow Popcorn
- 20 Mule Team Natural Laundry Booster, Borax
- EconoGreen Plastics Kitchen Garbage Bags, 13 gallon
- Ziploc Sandwich Bags (Green)
Alice.com is becoming very competitive with grocery store prices, and they offer coupons that are similar to what is currently available. They also offer free shipping with every order, and a free $10 credit once you spend $50. Wishing you had an Alice.com gift card? Alice is going to be featured during my Giveaway Extravaganza on Thursday, and you all can look forward to a chance at winning some gift cards for yourself!
Have you used Alice.com before? How do you think their prices compare to other stores that you shop at?

I think Alice is great. The prices are competitive and I think this is a really easy way for people who don’t like to spend much time planning out their shopping to still save some money. I generally order Dog bones because I like Hartz the best for my puppies and their prices are generally better than I find at petsmart and other like stores. Their orders show up in two to three days and I have not had a problem in the four orders i have placed so far, though, i did order liquid dishwasher detergent that actually came frozen and didn’t thaw very well, but hopefully now that it is much warmer that won’t be an issue.
That is an awesome deal. My sister has been wanting to make her own laundry detergent using the Mule Team Borax because they have a fairly large family. Have you tried that? I’d be interested to know how good it really is.
I like Alice for some things but overall I haven’t found their prices to be as good as I can do at CVS and Rite Aid. Granted, I put some time into couponing/stockpiling, and if you don’t want to put in that time, I think Alice is a great resource.
