But wait, it gets better. I will get a $10 Gift Card rebate for purchasing the 15 Pillsbury buscuits. So in essence, I was paid to shop. But, I will not count the gift card as part of my savings until I receive it and use it.
Highlights:
- Used a Rite Aid $10/30 (My Publix takes these because there is a Rite Aid right across the street).
- Raincheck for Biscuits and Land O Lakes, minus coupons to make the butter FREE with overage and the biscuits nearly free.
- 12 Ocean Spray (these rang up $3.99 each, but it said 2/$5 still on the shelf) – one for FREE because they scanned up wrong and the rest 2/$5. Used $1 Manufacturer coupons and $1 Target coupons.
- Betty Crocker Frosting .99. Used .50/1 coupons doubled to make them FREE + a penny overage.
- Revlon and Covergirl Cosmetics and Beauty Tools, FREE after Publix and Manufacturer coupons.
I mainly went to get the Ocean Spray. We don’t eat a lot of canned biscuits because they are so unhealthy. I make our biscuits from scratch with whole wheat flour. But I figured if they were going to pay me to take them, I might as well. I’ll be sending a whole bunch of food to my brother, who’s a starving non-couponer (I’m being a tease – I love you man!).

Where did you find the Biscuit rebate? Is it just a Publix thing?
Brie – It is just Publix thing, and it came in the paper about 2 weeks ago.
Starbucksgirl – yes, the frosting is on sale for .99 this week. Those .50/1 coupons from the recent GM make them FREE after doubles.

Thanks Crystal. I’m headed to Publix tonight and will pick up some of that frosting. I usually like to make my own because it tastes so much better but these will come in handy when we need to bring cupcakes for an event! You rock girl!
So jealous! My Stop & Shop won’t take CVS q’s even though they are right across the street….or Target Q’s. I can only use Q’s for the only other supermarket in the area, which is 15 mins away…go figure! I wish I had a Publix too!!
Hey Crystal, we’re headed to GA this weekend. Some of the mom’s from my mom’s group are going to IKEA in Atlanta. Here’s to hoping they run the FREE breakfast special again! We’ll wave to you when we enter GA!
