Combine equal parts vinegar and alcohol for a homemade remedy to prevent swimmer’s ear.  Deliver four drops of the recipe into each ear after swimming.  The alcohol helps the water evaporate and the vinegar kills bacteria that could cause infection.

Also H2O2 (Hydrogen Peroxide) is wonderful for the ears for killing the pests.

This is actually the exact recipe the ENT gave me after my daughter got a bad case of swimmer’s ear! :)

I’m just going to chime in and say that my family doctor gave the same recipe. Love when they come right out with the natural & thrifty answers to problems!
