Natural and Thrifty in 365: #307 Salt Dough Keepsakes

These salt dough keepsakes are a perfect idea for documenting baby’s first year. The dough is made entirely of cheap and common, natural ingredients. Cure them in your oven and finish with paint.
You could also make handprints with the dough and you’ll have gift ornaments for all the proud grandparents. If you want to hang these make sure to pierce a hole with a straw before curing.
You could even make these plaques annually and design some memorable stones for a garden path. So sweet!
