UPDATE: Sears is now saying that purchases made with gift cards will not qualify for the rebate. See more details on this Sears Rebate Fiasco, and voice your opinion here.
This awesome deal is back this year in celebration of Father’s Day. Now through June 20, buy any combination of men’s apparel totaling $50, and get a $50 coupon good for a future purchase back by mail. See further details and print your rebate form HERE. It must be postmarked by July 20, 2010. This is awesome because you will be getting a total of $100 worth of men’s apparel for only $50 after the rebate!
Note: CVS Pharmacy is offering $10 in ECB when you purchase a $50 Sears gift card (limit 2) starting Sunday 6/13. So buy your gift card at CVS, earn $10 back, then go spend your $50 at Sears and earn a $50 coupon back with the rebate. This makes $100 worth of men’s apparel for only $40! Sweet!
And as if it couldn’t get any better, you will get $5 sign-up bonus + 4% cash back if you shop online and go through Ebates. Now this is definitely an awesome Father’s Day deal, don’t you think?
Thanks Mojo Savings!

Is the $50 rebate specifically for mens clothing only, or can it be used on anything in the store? I’d love to use the rebate for summer clothes for myself!
I was just reading the same post on Money Saving Mom. Alot of the comments said people have had problems with this rebate in the past. The first purchase must be “qualified” men’s clothing and the rebate certificate is only good on men’s clothing as well. This sounds like an awesome deal- might be worth a customer service call first to make sure you don’t get burned. THANKS for the 411!
BE AWARE!!! I was disqualified from last year’s rebate deal and they were pretty nasty about it. I was really upset because I even asked multiple associates in the store to ensure I purchased the right items. There was a lot of fine prints last year (not sure about this year) and one of my items ended up not qualify (even though the employees in the store told me it was ok). Sears did not take any responsibility for their employees misinformation, of course. They also wouldn’t let me return one of the items because it was discontinued.
I just read the fine print – actually there’s not much this year. It looks like they have simplified the rules and ANY apparel will qualify (last year it was only Men’s Pants – and they have a weird definition of “pants”). Well, hopefully it will work this time.
I went last night and they give you the $25 gift card immediately at the register. Not like last year where you had to submit the info online and wait to see if you qualified and then wait to get your gift card. Reading the $25 gift card I received, it appears it’s good on anything and says you can even use it at Lands End, The Great Indoors, and Kmart locations.
