Total Spent: $13.47  Total Saved: $52.15

I got free lip gloss and cheap organic body spray at Victoria’s Secret.  Have you signed up for their club yet?  I got a $10 off any purchase coupon in the mail, and used it to get the organic spray.  And, the lip gloss was free with a bra sizing. I paid $1.35 for the organic maple syrup, and I believe the deal is still available HERE. The produce from the local co-op was $10.  We also got 4 big heads of brocolli that my Dad gave us this week, but those didn’t make it into the picture.

Rebates Received This Week: $11

Weekly Total Spending: $9.11

YTD Spending: $1,693 ($38.48 weekly average over 44 weeks)
YTD Savings: $5,598 (77%)
Coupon Costs: $119

can you please explain the ‘local co-op’?

sure! I’ve talked about it on here before. It’s called Farmer’s Market Baskets http://www.farmersmarketbaskets.com , and it’s a co-op that helps us save on our produce.
If you want to find something in your area, I suggest you check out localharvest.com. It’s also possible to find local co-ops on Yahoo Groups and Meetup.com . It just takes a little hunting, but once you find one in your area, you can really save on your produce!

It doesn’t seem to want to take my walmart link? I am so confused. I waited about 10 minutes and tried to resubmit, but it won’t show up.

Anyways, I got 13 items for $13, including 8 boxes of cereal. A savings of 60%!

Your link might be too long. You can shorten your link at tinyurl.com

Hummmm. That one worked. Not sure why it wouldn’t have been working before.

Hello,
I have been following the thrifty mama website for awhile and would like to shave my CVS trip. I spent $18.42 and saved $22.13 with $11 extra bucks. I bought Pantene shampoo and conditioner, 3 toothbrushes, 1 Colgate toothpaste and 1 pack of 4 Gillette mach3 disposable.
Thank you very much for your help
Ana
