Shopping Superstars

in Deals

It was a slow week for me.  It’s a good thing Publix is only 1 minute from my house. I just made one small trip, and here is what I got:

024 300x225 Shopping Superstars

Spent $9.02, Saved $15.68.   The chocolate milk was a special request from my hubby.  I told him it was going to mess up my spending (said in joking).  Splurges here and there are good for us.

I also received a $5 rebate this past week.

YTD Spending: $938 ($37.52 weekly average)
YTD Savings: $3,601 (79%)
Coupon Costs: $68

So how did you all do this week?  I can’t wait to see the deals you snagged!  Please link directly to your posts and not the main page of your website.  Don’t have a blog?  That’s okay.  Tell us how you did in the comment section.  Yard Sale brags are always welcome, too!! Just a note to say that this post will be happening on Saturdays for the next few weeks.

Hi all…I got a great deal on a treat at Publix yesterday. They have Ben and Jerry’s ice cream buy one get one free. At the door they have the coupon circulars with $1 off when you buy two pints coupons in them. The dairy circular and the one with the fireworks on the cover. It makes two pints 2.79. Great deal for something that is usually a splurge!
