My best find this week was this Sunbeam Toaster Oven. Regular retail is $29.99, and I got it for $12.48 at Target because someone had opened the box. We have been without a toaster oven for a couple of months now because our previous one went on the fritz. It wasn’t a big deal to just use our convention oven, especially since that helped our home stay warm during the cold months. But with spring and summer just around the corner, I was definitely ready to have a toaster oven back in the kitchen. So when I saw this deal I snatched it up.
As far as groceries go, I snatched up some free Artisan bread at Target along with some produce and other deals, and then went to Kroger to pick up a few mark downs. I also stopped in Aldi, but am sad to report that I was not impressed at all. Maybe I just hit them on a bad week, but the so called “bargains” were not bargains at all. All the prices looked the same as they do at Kroger, and at Kroger I can use coupons. The two deals I did spot were milk for $1.99 a gallon and baby carrots for .69 cents a bag. Since we only drink organic milk around here, the milk didn’t tempt me. But I definitely picked up two bags of preservative-free carrots.
Total spent on groceries this week: $17.50 Total saved: $104.58
YTD Spending: $432
YTD Savings: $1,740
Coupon Costs: $30
Sorry there is no picture again this week. I’m still looking for the cable to upload pictures from my camera.
So how did you all do this week? I can’t wait to see the deals you snagged! Please link directly to your posts and not the main page of your website. Don’t have a blog? That’s okay. Tell us how you did in the comment section.
